Creative Connections: Squiggla online workshop for Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW)

Squiggla invites you to grab a cuppa and join us for a fun-filled online session of creativity this Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW)!

We believe in the importance of creativity to wellbeing and a fulfilled life. Squiggla develops creative thinking skills through non-judgemental, intentional, direct and inventive mark making - the more you do, the better you’ll become as connections are strengthened in your creative brain.

Research shows that around the age of nine, peer pressure and expectations mean we stop exploring the original, playful side of creativity and curiosity. Squiggla will help you rediscover and develop your creative thinking skills through experimenting and improvising. You CAN reignite your playful side: no art expertise or experience required!

Materials required:
Scissors
Paper
Collection of any mark making tools you have around home – pencils, ball point pens, felts
A coin or smooth pebble

Cost: free
Where: online via zoom
Date and time: Wednesday 25 September, 7 - 8.30pm (please be on time, we will begin the workshop at 7.15)
